I had a starting lineup in NBA Live 06 of Paul, Allen, Lebron, KG, Yao and a bench of Tmac, Wade, Big Al, and several other stars...lol...and I went 82-0

It's all good...I don't have a set team, but I do have certain players I try to get, mostly Clemson alum:

Justin Miller CB (he's sick in Madden 08 - always leads the league in INTs and return TDs)

Charlie Whitehurst backup QB (I don't trust him as my #1...)

i once made a Madden 05 Fantasy Draft for PS2.
i got Randy Moss & Eli Manning cause i had 2nd pick in the entire thing.
So i made a player to even my team out.
made him Jay Sox.
90% muscle, and he knocked down 2 guys in one run.

yea, don't you love how on Nba 2k9, trades don't involve the other team's say?
i mean,
i'm on year 1 with the suns (because i got it today), and traded like, every bench guy to get Lebron, Kobe, CP3, Dwight, etc.
because it just asks "Trade .... for ....?" and YOU can click yes or no.

I got Michael beasley through free agency. I don't like to play unfair only legit.
