    Oakland Raiders sign Kerry Collins

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1809247

Looks like Gannon will still be the starter or so they say.

My bet is that the drop Gannon and keep Collins.

I also think that they will drop Gannon. Collins was a great pickup for them. He still has a lot of playing left in him.

well, according to a local news brief here in Los Angeles, Gannon has agreed to defer some of his contract for this year (to help with salary cap)

so it looks like Collins and Gannon will both get a chance to vie for the starting job.

I thought for sure Gannon was gone, since he refused to take a paycut
