    Heath Ledger as the joker was easily one of the best performances i have ever seen. Dark Knight should have been nominated for best picture. I also think Rourke should have won best actor.

    Heath deserved it, no matter how predictable the outcome was. I found it curious that he was left out of the video of all the peopled who passed away in 2008.

    Got a little tired of the Slumdog Millionaire parade of awards.

    Heath was left out because he was in last years tribute. He died in early 2008 so he was in it last year.

    I felt he deserved it as well but doubt he would have actually won it had he been alive today. Hopefully the academy is opening up to allow action movies to be more represented in their events. Now they just need to let comedies in.

    The wrestler was about the only movie that I didn't see, but Penn was awesome in Milk and it was a great story as well. I think once you get down to the top 5 nominees it's pretty tough to say any one of them is not deserving of the award.
