We did something like this on a similar forum a long time ago, it was tons of fun...

Basically it's a fun "tournament" type thing with 30 members where the SCF community votes for there favorite member based on whatever you'd like. We'd go through 4 rounds of voting to reach the finals to see who earns SCF's Favorite Member. To enter yourself in the competition, read-on for the guidelines.

The first rule to entering is you can't be a moderator, super-mod, admin, or anything like that, you must be a normal member. Staff in training is fine also. Staff is defintley aloud to vote though....

Second is you must be somewhat known and have contributed by posting in the SCF boards. I'm looking for 30 of the best members possible, no joined Feburary 2009, 43 posts, 1 trade, sorry.

If you'd like to enter just post saying so and make it clear, if I think you've contributed I'll put you in one of the groups.

Here's some more detail into how the tourney will work, when I say "top X move on", that means the top X ammount of people with the most votes:

Round 1, Group 1: Top 4 Move On
Round 1, Group 2: Top 4 Move On
Round 1, Group 3: Top 4 Move On

Round 2, Top 12 From Round 1: Top 6 Move On

Round 3, Top 6 From Round 2: Top 3 Move On

Round 4, Top 3 From Round 3: Member W/ Most Votes Wins!

Now for the groups, once accepted you'll be placed in a random group. Once a groups fills up I'll start the polling/voting for that group.

I'm looking for max particapation, I think this could be really fun if a lot of SCF got involved! This is in no way a competitive competion, no betting or prizes are awarded...

And absolutely no bashing another member or bringing up something they might have done that was questionable. If you don't feel they deserve the acknowledgement, don't vote for them, but there is no need to bring up any thing negative. This can be a lot of fun as long as everyone participates in a positive way...any negativity and we will have problems.

I feel i've contributed quite a bit on the forum. I'm going to have 15 completed trades by next week and i'm almost at 1,000 post. I post in many different areas.

I think you deserve a spot in the contest though you joined just this year, you have an average of about 20 posts a day and I've seen you post in a lot of different forums.
