    is boog powell a HOF???

    These are career numbers.

    He also won an MVP and made the All Star game 4 times.

    Good but nothing special.

    Had Boog had a 0.300 BA, that would've helped him.

    Given that everyone and his grandma hits 300+ homers nowadays, those stats won't look impressive as the years continue rolling by

    It would have helped but he still wouldn't have gotten in.

    Seriously though, he's not worthy of HOF status and he won't get it. You've seen the offensive stats and he wasn't a great player defensively....
