    Set Collecting Question

I'm thinking about starting to put together a set of 76 Topps baseball. Unfortunately, I'm not really sure what the best way to go about doing this is, so I thought I'd seek some experienced help.

I'm really looking to get a NM-MT set put together. Would the best thing to do be to try to buy either a starter set or some lots off of eBay and then see where I'm at? Or should I just try going after it one at a time? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet would be to buy the lots on eBay and get a somewhat majority of the set. Once you get to a point where buying lots will just get you tons of repeats then stop there and then try to trade the repeats for others in the set and then just buy up the remaining stars and ones that your missing to complete it. That's probably the cheapest way.
