i busted a hobby box of upper deck, whats the difference between upper deck and upper deck first edition. is there a difference? does it say first edition on the box?

Yes, regular Upper Deck is glossy and doesn't have the silver First Edition logo going down the card side or the gray/silver background on the bottom card text.
