Its actually unfortunate but some have to to supplement for the money they didnt make back in the first half of the 1900's. They make nothing compared to the players of today. One of the saddest stories is how much Jimmie Foxx struggled after he retired and he was the second member of the 500 HR club. You should look up his story.
