Amir Johnson traded to the Bucks!

The Bucks have flipped Fabricio Oberto to the Pistons in exchange for Amir Johnson, according to a source.

Oberto was acquired by Milwaukee from San Antonio earlier on Wednesday.

RealGM Note: The move will save Detroit in their salary cap space pursuits, as Oberto's contract is non-guaranteed.

    Great move.

Now I'm guessing, Detroit waives Oberto and his non-guaranteed contract. Then Spurs resign Oberto.

    Sounds familiar?

I highly expect them too. They wouldn't be saving cap room if they didn't..., and then the trade wouldn't make sense.

Detroit really must think Johnson is a horrible prospect....

I wanted the Rockets to go after him when he was a restricted free agent.

They probably will waive Oberto to free up room for Ben Gordon or Boozer.

They have no reason for Ben, i'd like Boozer though

Just saw on yahoo that if Boozer opts out the Pistons would target him as their #1 priority

Pistons did need a big center though and Oberto isnt bad.
