Lucky win or not, Joey Logano is starting to live up to expectations
The expectations for Joey Logano couldn't have been higher, perhaps even unrealistically so. Halfway through his rookie season, he's starting to live up to them.

He did get lucky win his first win. But, I think that he will win a lot more with his skills. There's a reason he started the cup series at 18.

hes improving alot, he was doing well in the practice race today in 4th, but then slipped out a bit

Yea, but practice at Daytona means absolutely nothing. If you're fast in practice, that just means you got in the right draft at the right time.
I mean, c'mon....Casey Mears was 2nd fastest in both practices....you think I'm even remotely excited about that? Haha.

Very true. Practice & qualifying mean nothing at Daytona & Talledega. That's what I love about those two tracks.

yea youre right, i noticed tony stewart dwindling somewhere in the 30s place the whole time joy riding. i still like watching it though
