    Stan Benjamin

Has anyone had any recent luck with Stan lately. He is 96 years old now and he is the oldest Phillie still alive. Would love to get his auto. Got his address but wasn't sure if he was still signing. If not I am going after Alex Pitko 95 years old.

Stan has Alzheimer's according to his daughter. He signed a card form me back in January. She asked for more of my cards at the time. I sent her some cards and a few new ones for Stan to have as well in April. I asked if Stan would sign one for me if he was up to it, but to keep them all if he wasn't. That was 90 days ago with nothing back.

Alex Pitko is still a quick signer.

Alex it is. That's ashame about the Alzheimer's. Both my grandparents had that. If you look, Alex started in the MLB in '38 while Stan started in '39. Alex was in the league before Stan but Stan is still older. Either would be a great sig for my collection. Thanks Rock

Do you have any of these 1940 Phils yet:

    Al Monchak
    Art Mahan
    Danny Litwhiler
    Bobby Bragan

    All are great signers!

*** And now all 4 players are in the TTMM!***
