Boston Signs Steve Begin
BOSTON, MA- Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has signed center Steve Begin to a one-year contract.
The 31-year-old Bégin is a veteran of 409 NHL regular season games and has tallied 47 goals, 39 assists and 482 penalty minutes in his NHL career. He has also notched four assists in 23 career playoff games, all with the Montreal Canadiens.
He finished the 2008-09 season with the Dallas Stars, after being traded from Montreal on February 26, 2009 in exchange for Doug Janik. In 62 games last year split between the Canadiens and the Stars, Begin notched 7-5=12 totals

This move is going to erk me to no ends! Begin is a reckless player with no respect to others on the ice. It's going to suck even more playing the Bruins six times a year.

Waste of money...you can't tell me we didn't have someone in Providence we could've brought up to fill his roll.
