Anyone Use Desiccant in Card Storage?
Just as the title asks... I'm curious how collectors deal with humidity/moisture. Do you use some sort of desiccant (moisture absorber) or do you keep your cards in any kind of temperature/moisture controlled container/environment.
I have my high end cards in magnetic one-touches and then in graded card bags and then inside a cardboard box. I'm looking to pick up either some desiccants or at least address the humidity/temperature issue in some way.
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

I am not a sports card collector, but thought my input might help. I am big into collecting die cast and having a condo in Myrtle Beach I feel it is very wise to use Desiccant to help reduce any chance of moisture damage. I simply place 1 packet into each box or display case with the car. They hide well under or behind the car.
Silica Gel Packets (or desiccant) can be used for a multiple purposes and all it does is absorb moisture. So if your concerned about your card collections (which I assume are fairly moisture sensitive since they are paper/cardboard) I would highly recommend using some sort of Silica Gel product.
You can just google the terms Silica Gel Packets and come up with a bunch of sites.
Enjoy!
