I know you think I'm joking, but back in 1968 (the last time I was there with them) my uncle shot a ground hog and my aunt cooked it up.
If you didn't know what it was it would not bother you...slow cook it with potatos and carrots and onions....and you have a feast!Randy

while moth balls will work, they are basically poison. I was trying to find something to keep cats out of my flower beds and was doing some reading. I did a quick google search after I had heard of this and found quite a few stories of cats and other animals being poisoned to death by moth balls that were set out like this.
sounds like animal control is hooking you up with a live trap and will release it for you once you catch it. that's the best thing to do.
