Very well said
I think you said what I was trying to say better in three sentences than I did in two whole posts.

I really hope you're not serious. The sad thing is you probably are.
These soldiers are over there because they have been sent there. Not because they said "hey, lets go here and do this". They signed up to defend our country. What happens after that is not their doings. Its the governments. So no matter what I think of the government I will ALWAYS thank these brave men and women. Even if you think what they are doing is a "crock", they are going through more than you will EVER know.

Or the lives of the brave men and women who lost theirs so that you can post your thoughts on a message board. How about that?????

150% agree. Too many people on this board take this for granted and are just too ignorant to see that.
THANK YOU TROOPS! These brave men and women fight next to people they dont know (or know very little) and put their lives in each others hands to keep the battle away from us. They lose their lives. Not only do they lose their lives, but we lose our mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. But for us. So that we can sit here and ***** about government and whatever we want. Sit on our couches, sleep in clean beds, and go out at night or whatever. We have it so easy, we dont even know. And that shows. So everytime you type on your nice computers on your nice internet speaking your opinions (that we have a right to have), thank a soldier for that.

I havent paid a dime. Unless you count paying for internet service.
And if you're talking about "free" as in freedom of speech, I guess I'm unaware of what you're talking about. In that case, I wont comment (because I just dont know).

What I'm saying is quite simple. I don't see it necessary to thank a soldier for being able to post on the forum. They don't die for me or anyone else to post on here, so I'll elect to thank Mike.
