It doesn't matter to me where he plays. I chose Staal because I love his style of hockey, although I'd like to see him in Toronto, lol.

I never based a player collection on my favorite team for the one reason if he got traded then I would feel the need to dump the collection. Since I'm closing in on 800 different Staal cards, that would be alot of dumping, lol.

Hopefully he will get a chance to shine in Carolina.

    Take care buddy
    Ian

Ian, glad to hear that you're going to keep on going with your amazing collection! You may have a bit of a rivalry now with fdp79 since he collects Eric! Look for a ton of amazing dual cards, only now in the same uni!

    Good decision...
I actually had a bit problem of that Johan Hedberg was traded to NJD (don't like the team nor Marty Brodeur) but I had been totally moronic to stop collect or dump him only because of that he got traded to a team who I doesn't like.

Yes it will be a lot of cards with Staal brothers in same uniforms in the future!

I'd rather compete with people over a Staal/Staal card than a Crosby/Staal card, Malkin/Staal or a Fleury/Staal card, lol. My collecting will probably be cheaper!

Both Hugh (Pens-fan-addict) and I faced that same problem when we were both collecting Max Talbot and he signed with the Flyers. Us both being huge Pens fans, it became a problem that we couldn't overcome...I think we'd both still be collecting him if he signed anywhere else.

For your sake dude, I sure hope that's the case! Anything that saves a little money helps!
