Steele calls Tom Friedman a 'nut job' over latest column

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele Wednesday beat back suggestions from some political commentators — most recently from the New York Times' Tom Friedman — that conservative opposition to President Obama is creating a political climate that may foreshadow attempts of violence against the commander-in-chief.

"Where do these nut jobs come from? Come on, stop this," Steele told CNN's John Roberts on American Morning in direct response to a quote from Friedman's column Wednesday equating the current political environment to that which occurred ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's assassination in 1995.

"To make those equations, examples and put that out there that way, to me is just crazy and yeah, I'm sorry, but if you're going to approach this discussion, approach it from a rational position," Steele continued. "[They're] saying, because you disagree with the president on policy, that all of the sudden we're going to make this leap into, you know, assassinations and all this other stuff. I mean, at the height of all this stuff on Bush and people complaining and protesting, and jumping up and down, you didn't have this kind of conversation."

This guy falls into the group of Hateful, treasonous, politicol hacks that have no morals or boundaries when it comes down to it. There are two kinds of people in this ongoing "racism" debate. The people that truly believe it is racism and hate that will result in violence dont bother me that much. They are wrong, but it doesnt enrage me like the other ones. Public figures in this group would include Jimmy Carter, Janine Garofilo, Bill Cosby, Whoopi Goldberg, and others on the outskirts of the politicol spectrum that are easily influenced by their own prejudices and the atmosphere of lies and hate that surround them. the other group that this "opinion writer" is part of are the worst kind of poison in America today. They know its not true, but absolutely love spewing it. its all a game to them. They love being on the PC side of a taboo subject and using it to destroy their opposition, regardless of the consequences. They are producing the anger in this country. They are creating racial animosity. There are plenty of people that arent in on the game and actually beleive what they are saying. It is doing extensive harm to this country. the scumb in this group include Olbermann, maddow, Mathews, Shultz, Krugeman, Pelosi, Shuster, Boxer, Sanchez, Huffington, most of the New york times, Daily kos, and more. The left has no morals, therefore most of the politicol hacks on the left have no boundaries. they will sink this low and lower.
