One feature I wish they had was to see what cards have sold for in the past. Always wondering to myself, I wonder if the sell actualy gets that price.

I found COMC because of this thread. I just got my first batch of cards listed. All hockey, pretty much all the time. Only sent them a small amount of cards, just to check out the site and how everything works. I like it. I'm going to be sending in another, bigger, batch on Monday. I'm thinking of doing a split batch. By that I mean, having x amount of cards uploaded in a week, x amount in three weeks, and x amount in 8 weeks.
Check out my test batch. Let me know what you think. Prices too high? Cards too old to get much interest?

Hey Man, Glad your checkin out the site... Me and Softballa are waiting for our cards to be uploaded yet. Should be pretty soon though! Im getting excited...
I checked out your cards, i dont do much for hockey... but looks like there is some nice stuff there. Good Luck with em! Im thinkin of doin somethin like after the first week or so, lower the prices an additional 5% every week,... that way over time, everything i have there should sell. we'll see though, im not sure yet if im lookin to just unload everything i have there, or if im gonna try and build the inventory up so i have a few thousand cards in there over time
Have you sold any yet?
Ive resold a few cards that ive bought on site, but none of my cards i sent to them have been uploaded yet.

oh you resold some, do tell? how much money did you make?
They got my two batches and said they would be uploaded by 11/9, but I'm really hoping that it's sooner. I can't imagine waiting 8 weeks.
Right now they have 35% of my batches done.

Softballa - Simular here, i think my expected finish date is Nov 5th... and hear ya on the waiting 8 weeks, geez i couldnt imagine that.
As for the cards ive bought and sold, ive bought a few things for some of the PC projects i have goin... had them shipped to me already. but then i bought a handful of Kyle Orton RCs a few weeks ago for next to nothing, a few of them have sold for slight profits, and the big one was a Brandon Jacobs SP RC Auto, bought for $8 sold for $20!! it had a messed up auto on it, and hes been slumpin, but someone bought it... The Jacobs booked $60

Thanks for checking them out. I had one offer, but it wasn't worth taking, since I wouldn't have covered the cost of shipping the card and having it listed. Other than that, not much.
I had also been thinking of ways to move more cards. I know some spam the boards with the "any offer will be accepted" deal, which I think would work because of being able to offer, at the least, half of what the asking price is.

You can send in anything you want, as long as its a legit card, that can be looked up in the beckett. In some cases even if the card doesnt have a beckett value, but is lisenced you can send that in too. However you do pay per card that you send in, so you dont really want to send in base cards, if your paying .10 -.25 cents per card.
They run promotions on there blog every month, it allows you to send in a different array of stuff each month, for a discounted price. If your serious about sending them some cards, look into the blog promotions!
