well, i never even heard of the two quotes they talk about in the newsbusters article...but he admits to saying he told a black caller to take the bone out of his nose and that all criminal composite pictures look like jesse jackson...personally, i think both of those quotes are kinda funny, but then again, his job isn't stand up comedian
if he's racist, whatever...he wouldn't be the first and he won't be the last...same thing with al sharpton
i do think that if he has the money to buy an NFL team (regardless of the percent of his share) then he should be able to...however, he would still need 24 votes from the other owners, and if they approve him, why should i care...if they don't approve him, well tough luck
as for palin...defend her all you want...the lady cost mccain the election...he probably wouldn't have won anyway, but she certainly didn't help like he thought she would

I didn't read the entire thread and hope this hasn't already been addressed.
I am not sure of his exact net worth but I have seen several estimates that put him near $1 billion in net worth. The new contract that he signed last year for his radio show is worth $400 million alone (over an 8 year period) and he earns another $4 mill a year doing appearances and through real estate that he owns in Florida.

oh. I had no idea. OK. I guess he could buy a team then.
Red- I dont know about those quotes either. I had never heard them before, but Im sure they are taken out of context like all of the other ones. It was probably sarcasm because the guy called up and called him racist. IDK. The people who are truly offended by his comments are only offended because they hear selective peices of them from people who pretend to be offended. Its all BS, but whatever. I dont care if he owns a team or not. It doesnt matter to me. I just dont want the media to be the most powerful intety in this country. Especially when they no longer care about the truth. Its dangerous. They are attacking any and all opposition to Obama in every way imaginable.

I think the world would be a better place if both Al and Rush were thrown into a bottomless pit.

well, at least we agree that neither of us care if he owns the rams...rush is allegedly a steelers fan, but as long as he doesn't own them, then i dont care which team it is
i want the same thing from the media as you...i wish all media asked the tough questions to whoever is president...even with MSNBC, CNN & all the other outlets you claim are far left, nobody ever really put the fire to Bush when it would've mattered...im fine with fox news questioning obama on every single thing, and wish others would do the same...i just dont think attacking him the way oreilly & hannity do is effective, other than for viewership....if all outlets would report the news and ask tough questions, instead of trying to create the news, then the citizens of this country would be better off
just for fun though....give me a scenario where telling a caller to "take the bone out of their nose" could be taken out of context

IDK. I dont know if that is a real quote. Could be fake. I was just talking about in general....I think you may be confused about oreilly. He is more pro Obama than almost anyone else on Fox. You are right about Hannity, but its just an assumption about Billo. Even the white house claims that he is fair with them. I watch him from time to time and he has never been unfair to them. he and his guests usually challenge Beck and hannity on their over the top stuff. I would find it impossible for anyone to think Oreilly attacks Obama unless they are just taking someone else's word for it. It would only reinforce what I am saying about the media. It makes sense. No media outlet is going to refute the Obama administration's claims about a competeing news organization. they are only going to pile on with more lies.

Titan - I just want to clarify, Yes or no, it's your position Rush Limbaugh did or did not say these things?

"Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?"
"Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it."

I dont know if he did or did not. I cant trust any source for any quote now that it has been proven that some of the quotes are fabricated. If CNN, MSNBC, and CBS are all willing to run with quotes that were completely made up, then how could I trust any other MSM quote attributed to Rush. How could I trust anything they ever say? I dont.
