great article, as usual, from Jason Whitlock...i have rarely read anything from him that isn't 100% on point...if you haven't read whitlocks columns before, you should start checking them out
he makes a great point about jay-z owning the nets, but then talks about how the NBA & NFL brands are different...
I'd say we're less than 24 hours from Limbaugh playing the Jay-Z card. Brother Jay owns a piece of the New Jersey Nets and has a library of rap tunes spewing the same kind of black-degrading lyrics, phrases and stereotypes that have made Limbaugh rich enough to buy a chunk of the St. Louis Rams.
he talks about sharpton protesting to goodell...
And here come the Left Brothers — Al "747" Sharpton and Jesse "DC 10" Jackson — barreling in for a landing on top of Goodell's dome. And this time every black person with an ounce of common sense and self-respect is riding shotgun with Jesse and Al, who have justifiably voiced their displeasure with Limbaugh's ownership bid.
He never had a doubt that he'd smoke out Al Sharpton.
he even talks about some of the quotes titantron has said are taken out of context...
Limbaugh claimed on his radio show Monday that his staff could not find any proof that he ever joked about slavery. I'm sorry. Limbaugh doesn't get the benefit of the doubt on racial matters. He's earned a fortune with racial satire. He knows what he's doing. You can argue the comments are presented out of context and were meant as jokes. Then I'd argue that Limbaugh needs to get on the comedy-club circuit and out of the business of attempting to influence presidential politics. Limbaugh wants to be taken seriously.

How does he need the benefit of the doubt? Does anybody think that if Rush Limbaugh said those things, It wouldnt be out by now? Would we not be hearing it on every network like we hear the Mcnabb clip over and over again. If he is so racist, why do people have to create evidence to prove it? why lie?

I started checking on your quotes and found out that the very first one is an absolute lie. 100% fabricated. Now i'll use the same logic i use with the media. Why would i even bother checking the others. Now. are you going to start harping on the other quotes or admit that the media smear machine influences you like it does everyone else?
I do know that the 3rd quote is real. It may have been in reference to one of our Titans. either albert stomping that guys face or Pacman. I dont see anything wrong with it. Have you been paying attention to the NFL lately? on the feild and off. Violence, Guns, Drugs, courtrooms, and prison. I dont see why this is even on the list.

Not that I know much on the subject but do you happen to have a source?

why would I need to give a source for something that does not exist? How would i go about doing that? I'll give you this Newsbusters article as a source. Funny that its actually more reliable than CNN and MSNBC.

Titan - you are correct ... somewhat, the first one cannot be cited,
however the others (and some more I had never seen) are on snopes.com and are all confirmed either from his show or Limbaugh himself.

Regardless, i heard on sportstalk radio today that the other owners have to approve him and that will never happen so the whole issue is moot. I don't think the other owners will appreciate having thier business compared to a gang war. Please feel free to message me here about my electronic bay & COMC listings

Well. Lets repeat the exact same thing we did earlier. The very first quote on your new list/link from snopes is false. Its a lie. Not true. he never said that one either. So. Here you have a new list with a different quote at the top. Its not the same quote that was proven to be false in your last post. Again, why would I read any further when the very 1st one is a lie. I looked down at #2 and its the quote that you have allready agreed is false. Why would you even come back with a source that allready gave you false information? I certainly hope you dont rely on snopes or whatever it is for information. Now. here is the real kicker. I truly do not know about the other quotes. he may have said them, but am I or is anyone else going to beleive it? I know I wont. You can give me 20 sources for the other less offensive quotes and I still wont know if they are true. Thats what happens when major news organizations report lies as fact. We are very very close to losing the truth in this country. We have been dancing really close to the edge, but this may be a defining moment for us if the truth remains untold.

Did you read the Snopes reviews of these? For at least four of them, they could not confirm via direct sources that he did say them. I'm not getting into this, just saying...

right. but you are not getting into it. The left has done such a good job of demonizing Rush that nobody will defend him. I rarely ever listen to the guy and I wouldnt consider myself a big fan of rush, but I dont mind defending him. Is it not scary to anyone else that the "common knowledge" about Rush and other conservatives can be so false? The majority of people why buy into the hatred of these people have never seen or heard them for themselves. Its very hateful and personal, but the general goal is to attack conservatism, not the individuals. Its like Fox News. they are hated and mocked more than any other network, but you could tune in for weeks at a time without seeing anything controversial or out of line. The general lies and slander have created the "common knowledge" that a lot of people have about Fox. Somehow that allows MSNBC and other networks to lie and distort everything all of the time to combat a false perception of Fox news. You cant tune into MSNBC for 5 seconds without them being hateful and untruthful. There are radio hosts who are far worse than rush, they just happen to be liberal so they can get away with any and everything. I understand that its just a ratings and entertainment game, but we just cant have our government joining in the game. it is very dangerous for America. the lines are being crossed.
