Thanks guys. a lot of useful info in these posts. Another question for us "ball senders", how do you send the ball? Someone mentioned asking for the ball to be returned in a zip lock bag. I had thought about sending it off in the individual ball box (maybe with the top either taken off or folded back and the sweet spot showing). Would it be easier to sign holding the box or just the ball by itself? I thought that if I included the box, then that might lower the chance of the signature getting smudged. Ideas?

(BTW, just got my new Trump Signature Balls, and I think they look great. Hopefully, they hold a sig. well.)

I usually send the ball loose, my LOR, SASE, and a pen in a zip lock baggy. Out of the 22ish balls I have received since starting in late August about 75% of the balls have returned in the baggy. I was considering sending my balls in boxes as you describe but idk it just never took. The only thing to ever happen to one of my balls is the Gary Carter success I received the other day had a slight dimple/"dent" that's impossible to notice in a display cube and near impossible outside of one.

As with anything in this hobby it is all personal preference. My experience has led me to believe that you poke around until you find your rhythm and stick with it. Ask 40 people how they send something and you'll probably receive 30+ different answers.

I just put 6 forever stamps (44 cent stamps) on both SASE (bubblemailer) and the envelope with everything in it
