Kings claim Randy Jones
Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings on Thursday claimed defenceman Randy Jones off of re-entry waivers.
The 28-year-old Jones registered an assist in six games this season with Philadelphia's American Hockey League affiliate in Adirondack.

for 1/2 price, i'll take him for a 7th d-man in case of injury. he's an UFA at the end of the year and the flyers are paying 1/2 his salary.

I dont understand the move....unless something else is going to happen - would rather Harrold play D instead of Forward

hmmm, i guess it's a good move for both teams? who knows.....

i think they are going to keep harrold up front - jones can play when o'donnell needs a night off or in case there are any injuries...or maybe they are planning on moving a d-man, but i doubt it.
