Need Help!! What's the Deal With the NFL Logo Shield??
Alright, so I just bought this to go along with my other Flacco 1/1:
I got it today and it's awesome, but why does this card have the old NFL logo shield on it if Flacco began playing in the 2008 season, which is when they started using the new nfl logo that looks like the one in this card:
I also found a 2009 Chris Johnson 1/1 nfl logo shield on ebay that had the old logo as well.
So, can anyone help me out?? Should I contact Panini?
Any help is welcome, thanks!

Aren't there 2 logos on the uniform? One on the jersey and one on the pants. They look different no?Collecting Tomas Hertl & Jaquiski Tartt

8 stars is the new logo
The eight stars in the 2008 logo represent the 8 AFC and NFC divisions. While 25 stars on the old logo don't represent anything except the desire to fill space.
Then under inspection you notice that almost every part of the shield changed: Less stars, Lombardi Trophy Football postion, the font used on the lettering, the Blue is deeper and even the shape of the Shield itself.

Throwbacks might be the explanation. I guess the question would be if they wore throwbacks during the '08 Rookie Premiere. However, the Ravens do not have throwbacks, so...
