    CHIT-CHAT FF: Week 9 Wrap

The trade deadline is Nov 11. All trades must be proposed and accepted by 12PM ET on Wednesday, November 11.

    ---------

    WEEK 9 WRAP

    Recap of the Match ups

Ramrod @ Novacaine - The Novacaine have put a bounty on the heads of Hines Ward and Mike Wallace...3 GU/auto cards for each! The Holy Rollers had a 19 point lead and a kicker left to go entering MNF. But, the Steelers score 3 offensive TDs in the game and each one of them went to either Ward or Wallace. Screw the Steelers, screw Hines Ward, screw Mike Wallace, screw Jeff Reed, and screw Ben Roethlisberger just for good measure.

Dwarves @ EFFECT!! - The Dwarves has a bunch of underperformers and Chris Johnson finally decided to play a game where he was up for SCF RB of the Week. Drew Brees and the Saints D/ST pull their weight, but Pierre Thomas and John Carney cancelled them out on the other side. The Dwarves can't pull away from the pack and the Truckers pull their way into it.

Blunts @ Victors - This match up pitted the top 3 WR starters against each other...the Blunts had Moss and the Victors had Fitzgerald and Sims-Walker. Fitzgerald brought home the WR of the Week trophy, but the Blunts added some QB and RB play to take home the victory. The Victors are being pulled down into the pack as well, losing two in a row and falling to 5-4.

Pillagers @ Hellbillies - Peterson was on his bye and apparently everyone else decided they couldn't win without him. The Hellbillies get slack production from everyone but Peyton and the Steelers D/ST and the Hellbillies season continues to be one streak after another...first losing, then winning, and now back to losing it appears.

    • PABS!!! @ That Thing - Ric Flair needed Mendenhall to score 24 on MNF...if the freaking Steelers had gotten him into the end zone instead of freaking Hines Ward or freaking Mike Wallace, maybe he would have had a shot. As it stood, he posted 15 and came up short. The Punks have won two in a row and are trying to set themselves up for a strong playoff push....That Thing, well at least they got one win!

'Horns @ Stratusfaction - Another team that hates the freaking Steelers! The Broncos D/ST and Santonio Holmes each post 9 points on MNF to pull the 'Horns over LA. If anybody wants to add some cards to the bounty, we can go after the whole Steelers team instead of just Ward and Wallace...just a thought.

Seriously...I've always hated the Steelers, but now I want them to die in a fire.

sounds like a case of trophy envy

maybe instead of blaming the greatest NFL franchise of all time, you could blame that -3 on your defense, or maybe the combined 11 points between all 3 of your WR's....i was hoping you'd win too, would've put me in first place

Now why would I blame my own team when it's so easy to blame someone else's?

Red: Matt Ryan and I are gonna go ahead and start digging the hole if you wanna get the tombstone ready. Congrats on the win. I gotta find me a more consistent QB.

true true....its like when i lose and i blame the commissioner

i need a #3 WR, but i think everybody does...my super sleeper Chris Henry broke his arm and is on IR...man, i cant believe he didn't break out this year...i had a feeling the bengals would be good, and I guessed right on Palmer, but I expected Henry to be a bigger part of that offense....i couldn't bench him that often, even though he wasn't doing anything, because he has that much potential...i only drafted him in the 15th round in this league, but drafted him in the 9th round in my big money league...i was expecting big things

and no worries on the tombstone....i put the order in yesterday, it's being chiseled as i type

Okay, glad to hear it about the tombstone. I'll be layin in the hole when you have it ready.

I know what you mean about Henry. I took him late in a few leagues and was disappointed as well. He was prime for a breakout year and now all he's got is a broken arm. I guess I suffered the same thing, with Ryan in his sophomore slump. I mean, he hasn't played horrible, but definitely not as expected. Thankfully, my WR have been able to keep me in the hunt for the most part.

Time to turn it around this week against JesRey.

My record doesn't represent my team at all. I still have the second highest points in the league. In my eyes my team is better than 10 other teams. I'm just not as lucky as you guys. Unfortunately I would need four straight wins to make the playoffs. Fat chance.
