After the one good game, the Thrashers returned to normal once again.
In the first period, there was actually no scoring at all, which led to a very slow start for the game.
In the second, at 14:06, P. Sharp (CHI), scored his 23rd on the year on the Blackhawks power play to make it 1-0 Chicago. Then, at 18:05, I. Kovalchuk (ATL), scored his 24th of the season, also on the power play, to tie the game at 1-1. Finally, at 18:26, none other than J. Toews (CHI) scored his 17th goal of the season, also on the power play, to make it 2-1 Blackhawks.
Then, in the final frame, at 19:50, D. Bolland (CHI), picked up his 12th goal on the season with the empty Atlanta net, sealing the game at 3-1 Chicago.
