Back From The Dead?

Rate this Entry
Last week I received two autographs in the mail from former Canuck players.

One player was Paul Lawless, who played seven seasons in the NHL, his best with the Hartford Whalers where he scored 54 points in 60 games. He played briefly with the Canucks, donning the jersey for 13 games with the team. A quick signer, my TTM was returned after 23 days.

The other player was Gene Sobchuk, who had the unfortanute mistake of being deemed "deceased" in the autograph world. A little strange how one person can claim them as deceased and everyone else follows. Fortanutely, a great TTM member realized he was in fact alive and well on his farm in Saskatchewan and promptly sent out his request to be received in quick fashion. I, myself, sent out my request and received it back in 19 days. I hope he'll get more recognition for being alive and well!!

That makes 2 more Canucks to my all time Canuck autographs, making me about 84% complete for the team. Very happy about this and I hope to be at 85% by the end of the year.
