paranoid about screwdowns ... any opinions?

I want to use screwdown holders...but something about them worries me.

I have a bunch of the old PC5 one-screw ProMold recessed holders.
I do like the way these LOOK the best
--but does anyone have an opinion on how SAFE they really are?

I tried the new PC5ii version with the untouched corners design
--but it seems like the card has too much room to move around.

Am I better off simply sticking with sleeves and top-loaders?
If so... Which top-loaders are the best to use for display purposes?
Which ones are the most protective and the CLEAREST ?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I use Pro-mold PC-18 II (extra thick and corner protectors) for all of my GU cards. They seem to gige great protection.
