Djauwerda's TTM Success Thread
Ok, I'll join in the fun, too.
I've actually been TTMing off and on since around 1994-95, probably with a success rate somewhere around 30-33%. I've sent more cards out than I'd probably care to admit, and used to have a spreadsheet of my success / failures somewhere, but I think it got trashed on an older computer.
So, I'm sitting in my basement with my auto's and figured I'd at least post my successes over time. I have received most / all of these successes through the mail in care of either their stadiums or spring training facilities. I have usually sent 1 or 2 trading cards. Going to be sending out a bunch of customs to Spring Training this week.

Best story is the Shane Conlan card. I received a letter from State Farm Insurance (Who I incidentally had my insurance through) and somehow my autograph request had gone to Shane Conlan, he had signed it but on the way back to me, my SASE ended up in the mail room of their main office in Bloomington, Illinois. They opened it and returned it to me. Thought that was pretty cool.
Hopefully, some more successes to come this spring!

Today brought my second success of 2010. Mr. Rick Reuschel was kind enough to sign and return 4/4 customs. Took 12 days via his home addy in TTM Database.
