Must Send First Question
So I was attempting to make a trade with another member who had a MSF tag. It was a cash for card trade. Do the rules not state that he must send the card before I pay? I told him that I would pay as soon as I received the card and he told me that he needed the money before he could send it. He has substantial feedback but rules are rules and he must have a MSF tag for a reason. What does everyone think?

Under the rules he has to send first. But the dude has 250 positive feedbacks, no negs. I'd be upset too if I had to send first to someone with substantially lower feedbacks. I've been scammed 3, actually 4 now, times where I had to send first to a guy with less than 20 feedbacks. I get my stuff stolen, and mods can't do anything because it's a hit and run.
If 250 positive feedbacks (0 negs) aren't good enough for you to trust the guy, then I don't know what to say.

i cant help that he has the must send first tag. I dont know why he has it. Im just playing by the rules. whats to say i send my money and never get the card. I have almost 50 positive feedbacks with no negs and I dont have a MSF tag why cant he trust me to send the money when i get the card, it goes both ways. Im just playing by the rules to cover my own butt.

If you have those doubts and suspicions about him, why would you make the deal?

Hey either way, the person has a MSF tag for a reason, regardless of what it is for, he must send first, it wouldn't matter if the guy had a 1,000 positive trades if he has a MSF Tag that is the bottom line. The rules are in place for a reason, contact the disputes manager and let him know the reason he put the trade in dispute, he is in the wrong. I used to be on staff and this rule is in place for good reason, thanks. Daniel
