Beckett's Top 50 Cards of All Time
Back in the February 2008 issue Beckett came out with a list of the 50 greatest basketball cards of all time. I have been trying to get as many of them as I can. I know I will never be able to afford or even find them all but I have managed to get 33 out of the 50. There are only maybe 2-3 left that I could ever see myself owning. I have the following ones: 1(X2),2,3,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,15,18,21,22,23,24,25,26, 28(X2),29,30(X2),31,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40(X2),42 ,43,50.
I thought it might be a cool idea to share this with everyone and see how many of them everyone on here has. Here are scans of their list.

Considerring some of those cards on there I think 33/50 is an amazing collection of cards.

Thanks. It sure was difficult and expensive to come up with that many of them but I've had a really fun time doing it though.

I really have no idea how #36 KG makes into the list. It is not even a signature set of that year. And they pick KG on 96-97 Autographics. Grant Hill 96-97 Autographics should make the list.
And way too many RCs. Kobe Chrome/Chrome Refractor. 03-04 Exquisites. Beckett top-50 list is just bad.

Regardless of what made becketts top 50 or not, cool idea and good luck completing the rest of the cards. It would be really amazing if you got them all. Just do it!

i personally think they need more rookies. some might not care about a webber finest but its the first ever year of finest and that makes it a land mark card. stuff like that. 36 is probably the weakest out of that list
i have 6/50.

There are only a few more of them that I could actually ever see myself getting. Maybe the Russell Rookie if I could find a low graded one and maybe the Mikan Auto. Other than that I don't think I could afford any of the other ones. I actually just checked Ebay for the Mikan auto and there is only 1 of them and it's going for $10,000 but it's graded BGS 10. Hopefully an ungraded one wouldn't be as much. Even if I could afford them some of them would be almost impossible to find like the Maravich cut auto which is #'d to only 5.

The toughest one is probably the Maravich, you never see them and every HOF, NBA Top 50 players collectors, Legends collectors want one...
