Technical Issues/Attack
We had a Denial of Service attack today. It forced SCF to go down and reboot. This caused some database corruption. The corruption has been fixed. Please report any errors here!

I'm not sure if I'm the only one getting this error or not, but some of the threads I view they do not show anything at all once you click the thread link to go inside of it...example:
https://www.sportscardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1183258
and I have no text from the thread creator, it just has the reply buttons and all showing but nothing else. anybody else having this problem???

There may be a few threads that were being created when we went down that will not be there. Meaning someone was writing a new post and submitted around the time we went down. It likely didn't write to the database.
Let me know if you see any more!

alright cool, i figured that was the case...I remember viewing that one and 1 other (I believe the one that was right below it), and they both had the same problem. I'm assuming right around that same time period they (new posts) weren't copying into the database then.

Why turn off the "Who's Online" sometimes I like to see who'd on, and we'll chat about a trade.

Because it is server intensive. Until I can ensure SCF is 100% good, I need to turn off some features that are nice, but are hard on the server. I'll get them back up this week, but for now they need to be off.
