Definitely agree with you about the in person experience; way cooler, but what more can you do?
As for the hats, I hate when people do stuff like that! Kind of a pet peeve of mine...like when I was going to Cavs games, people having the visiting team sign Cleveland giveaway stuff. I don't get it...

Graphed the Rangers tonight. I will probably go back, as tonight was pretty tough going- no one signed by the bus. Police escort though, it was pretty crazy.
Got a few successes- Mitch Moreland and Ron Washington signed as they got into cabs on this 8x10 logo.
Ian Kinsler also signed getting into a cab- now I need to get hamilton to sign the other side!
As an update, I have been told by my people that Cliff Lee won't sign the Sports illustrated cover for some reason. I don't know if it's true or not but it would certainly shed some light on yesterday.

Got one in the mail today, couldn't be happier. I sent this to BYU right after they got eliminated from the Tourny, figuring that Jimmer would still be in the facility. Shortly thereafter he stopped attending classes so I thought it was a lost cause. I got it today after nearly 3 months turnaround time. WOOOO!!!!!! Jimmer Fredette 1/1

Great success today. I was really hoping to get this one back:
Jamie Moyer 3/3 C/o ESPN- My brother and I got a photo with him 2 years ago, so I sent him 2 copies and a card- he signed all 3. I'll obviously be giving the extra to my brother.
22 days turnaround.
Also, visited a local card shop and picked up a few uncertified autos on the cheap.
Former and current Phillies Jon Lieber, Aaron Rowand, Ryan Madson:
And, finally, one from my childhood- Mo Vaughn, complete with the ticket to the card show where it was signed. Not quite a COA but close enough for me I guess:
I don't usually buy autos, least of all uncertified ones, but for a few bucks I didn't have lieber in my Phils collection and could use dupes of the other 2 so I pulled the trigger. Couldn't be happier with the moyer.

Are you ever up near Burlington County? The Iggles are up there and I want to see how these lockout "workouts" are for graphing...
