Yeah I was pretty stoked. I had almost given up on it. It makes up for the JoePa. Although, I'm determined to get that guy's sig!
In other news, my wife bought a TriStar Tommy John OMLB for me. I'm a Yanks fan and empathize with his injuries so it is cool to me. I was shocked she thought of him.
Also, heading to Auburn this week for the title celebration and will get a Cam and a Fairley while I'm there. It should be fun if my leg holds up; I'm four days post-op from an ACL repair.

HUGE success today--JoePa signed an 8x10 for me in 9 days. I sent it out as a shot in the dark while waiting on the other pre-print to come back. I will try to get a scan up today. It doesn't look like the clearly AP card we all received. This one is signed in black sharpie with a somewhat worn tip. The "J" extends just above the top of the "e" and there is a loop in the top of the "t"--all of those are vastly different than the AP he has been sending. I compared it to some being sold through reputable online retailers and it all seems to check out. I am super-stoked on this one!
EDIT: Also, Heath Evans via foundation. $10 donation through the web site and they will send it to you. He's an Auburn guy so I went for it. By the time you get a decent quality 8x10 (I don't consider at-home printers decent quality) and buy envelopes, postage, etc. it is only a couple of bucks extra so what the hell. Pretty cool return, for an Auburn fan anyway. I was so excited by the JoePa I had to come back and add this because I forgot it!Last edited by duderbeast; 01-24-2011 at 05:18 PM.

Odd failure from the Big O today. He sent the card and my letter back in my SASE. It appears he took the SASE out, sealed it and dropped it in the mailbox. I will be sending again tomorrow.

he is very hit or miss, some times he'll sign other times he will do just as he did with yours, just send again. Good luck

I've never been able figure him out...why not just RTS it? I managed to get him in one try, I just wish I knew what his thought process was.

well I sent back out with today's mail. I will update if I have a different response. I'm not holding my breath, however.
Although, the same day I got mine back there was a success listed on SCN.
