Question for someone that got Lil Wayne in prison

I am thinking about sending to OJ Simpson in prison. Someone said people on these forums got Lil Wayne when he was in prison. I was wondering how you guys went about it. I called the prison and they said that they don't allow you to send in stamps or SASEs, so how did you get him to return it to you? Did he just write back in his free time out of the goodness of his heart? I have a hard time believing that.

Any help that you guys can give would be great.

When I wrote to Lil Wayne I just treated it like any other TTM request. I sent a SASE. I didn't have any problems.

Same. Wayne had his prison addy posted on his website welcoming fan mail, the man was in prison, they're allowed mail, I'm sure he enjoyed reading all of it since there isn't anything else to do, who else would respond to the mail? I don't see why sending stamps is illegal, ask another prison I bet you don't get the same answer.
