    Shaq TTM question

alright, this is starting to bug me lol

I got a success today from Shaq & right away the ghost signer stuff starts poping up.. I checked out the TTM Database & looked at my listing i put in for Shaq & found this little gem..

" NRCCollectibles ------ Hey, just wanted to let people know since i can't post in here. the shaq's are ghostsigned. It was confirmed as they don't pass authentication and there is a celtics special assistant that does sign his mail. sorry to bum the party guys."

First off, How did you "NRCCollectibles" find this info? I would like to see this for myself. If its true ( about the ghost signer ) i want to see facts that back up your statment. as for 3rd party authentication, How can you trust them? i have seen stuff signed in person, sent in & refused. so 3rd party authentication is in no way shape or form correct all the time. it is an opinion.

NRCCollectibles if you can browse threads send me an email if you cant post in here, I want to see these facts that confirm the special assistant signs his mail.. Email is [email protected]

    Just wondering is all..

so the celtic assistant lives in Shaq's house? I believe the successes are from him home address.

Every time a big star signs there are always people saying it is ghost signed. Hank Aaron, Brett Favre, Hulk Hogan, John Travolta. Just to name a few. I have even read post on other websites question the authenticity of the Mark McGwire's that started to come back.
We all know there is no way to be sure unless we see them sign it for ourselves. But when I receive a sign from one of these people. I compare the signature to other signatures and if they look good then it is authentic to me for my collection.

This is always funny to me just like Bigga said once a big name signs there are always a few people that start saying there ghostsigned. I have seen a few Shaq successes come in and one I saw had the number 33 inscribed on a IC. If a Celtic employee was signing his mail that why wouldn't he put his Celtic number on it.

I have gotten Shaq IP, and have a certified pack pull. I looked in your TTM thread, and yours look pretty good / legit.

I removed the post from the TTMM. The TTMM isn't a forum for discussion. It's a tool keep track of requests and returns. Period.

The whole idea of employing a ghost signer has always befuddled me. As an athlete, how is it in any way helpful or beneficial to willingly saturate the market with fake autographs?

Ask Hank Aaron the next time you see him around.

They are coming back really quick, though. Although, if you compare(and I have), they look pretty damn legit to me.

Very true...I remember there were even a handful of people questioning the authenticity of Peyton Manning back when he started signing consistently.

As for the part about them failing third party authentication...I believe, and always will believe, things like PSA, JSA, etc. are a joke. They've called real autos fake, and fake autos real.

As to whether they're real or ghost, there's only a handful of people that will know for sure. I guess that mystery just adds to the awesomeness of TTM.
