I agree if you read it, at the end it says you are getting a framed picture, what a piece of .......... trying to scam people.

Is he really trying to scam people? The description seems very clear, you are getting a framed picture of these cards. It's a stupid item to list, I'll give it that, but it all comes down to the buyer being informed of what they're getting before bidding.

He's done this with a couple of very nice, very high-end cards now. There was another Crosby listing that I saw yesterday. He buries the "it's a picture" right at the end of the Wikipedia listing hoping that it lulls you to sleep.

If he wasn't trying to scam people why not put a picture of the framed photo up? Instead of putting 2 seperate pictures up?

The seller, lilkid_16 has zero feedback as a seller and of the seven transactions where he was the buyer, four are no longer registered eBay users.
When someone puts up a listing like that the usual response is "buyer beware" or "he didn't lie", but it's clear that he is being very deceptive. While not the classic bait and switch, he clearly wants the reader to believe they are getting cards while he has no intention in sending them the actual cards. His clear intent to deceive should be enough to get this deal overturned.
I'm amazed at the feedback of the bidders. Many are in the thousands. You'd think seasoned eBayers would sniff out this deal as too good to be true! Too bad eBay hides bidder names. I would have loved to have been able to contact the bidders and give them a heads up.Hidden Content

Ended at $588, imagine how the buyer will react when they open up their package and find a couple pictures... Always read the description! The seller's a jerk for sure though.
