Halloween Pickups, Vintage of course ;)
The FT aspect is I trade for other vintage.
My pricing is fair, usually below bay except on rarities.
The funny thing with ebay on this end of the hobby is a guy may be looking for weeks for a card, looking to pay a premium and sure enough the week he doesn't look it will show up and sell well below normal value. Ebay for Vintage NS is barely a guideline, unlike it is for Sports and Modern NS
And to the cards
1909 T76 series Turkish Trophies (Nicknamed Puzzlebacks)
These cards are in puzzle form. They are attached until removed. None of these have been detached
Both boats are 15.00ea
The Statue of Liberty is 25.00
The State Map of Uta is 20.00
The following cards are 1888 Duke Terrors of America Catalog number is N88
The baseball cards from this set command a premium, for obvious reasons.
out on 1st,how's that Umpire
15.00 Minor paper loss on back, beautiful front.
G/VG
Playing Buffalo Bill
VG/EX
12.00
Watch him hit me
VERY moderate paper loss
VG+
8.00
The following 6 cards are from the same series but were not issued in tobacco packs.
These are blank backs that were found on store advertisements
Each card is 3.00
The Fishing card is 7.00
PSA 4 World Smokers $15.00
Women Smokers 1909 BAT(British American Tobacco)
The defining value for these cards are the chips. This was an extremely condition sensitive set and a card with no chipping on the front can command 50-75.00
This card depicts normal chipping
$8.00
This is the Rare back from the ATC release "Fish" commonly referred to by it's catalog number T58
This is the 1st ATC back I have owned, they are rare ;)
$12.00
HIGHLY sought after 1889 Allen & Ginter set Arms of all Nations. If you search these on ebay, be prepared for sticker shock :)
Catalog ID N3
Between this and the American Indian set by A&G, it is a close tie for the most sought after. With a set of 50 cards having an average value of 2000 in Good condition, it is no wonder these do not sit long
This is a difficult set to piece together. Taking years to complete. if interested, please keep that in mind.
Russian has crease through midsection
Revolver has chip in upper left
Lancer has paper loss on back
...lost the back scan,pm if needed
Ok
Claymore $20.00
Russian Axe 12.00
Revolver 25.00
Lance 15.00
Some fun stuff ;)
1889 Kinney Playing card series
The 10 of Clubs is also labeled Barnums after Barnum Baily, hence the circus scene :)
Catalog ID N219
12.00 for the 10 of Clubs
1887 Kinney Transparent playing cards
The nifty thing to these is if you hold them up to light you get a full image over lapping the card. I am not sure how this was done, but it is pretty amazing. I wish I could show the image, but I have no 500.00 High res cameras :P
Catalog ID N233
Ace 24.00
King 18.00
Arbuckle Coffee State cards
A large portion of these depict Indian scenes. I have many more but I have elected to show those as well as a Ben Franklin and a Map card
Ben Franklin Pennsylvania's are sold
the Arbuckle Cards are 5.00ea
The Map Arbuckle cards are 7.00ea
Post if you have other interests. I display a few of what I have to offer as I find scanning for hours dull :)
I have a large collection of 1888-1891 Allen % Ginter Bird releases
My shipping is a flat 2.00 per order if it be 1 card or 20, in the USA
Thanks for looking all
EDIT
I am also using http://www.nonsportscardforum.com/ for these as well
I was told it was a sister site of SCF,so I have no problems posting the URL
If you sign up and do not get in right off, let me know via PM with your user name and I will pass it along to staff.
I don't want anyone waiting the 3 weeks I did to get in :P

Well the upside is you can set your price for the most part.
Worse case you break even on a sale
No drug charge, rape charge, steroid or a bad season will effect the values :)
Having more fun than in any sport and more lucrative than even vintage baseball ;)

hey Sportz
Claymore $20.00
Russian Axe 12.00
Revolver 25.00
Lance 15.00
65.00 dlvd
I am loosing on the Lance as I paid more, but I dropped the revolver price. It's that one i got and the guy sold me as Damaged and I was able to easily remove the paper/Glue off the back and making it a G/VG from a Fair
Let me know buddy. I wasn't sure if you were going to go for this set or I would have went directly to you
You got all my wishes on building it. That is an uphill battle for sure.
Also, picked up an Ace of Spades down in Dalton :P

Ok
have a look-see ;)
https://picasaweb.google.com/1129830...dsOfTheTropics
70 dlvd if you want them all.
The 1st 3 were corner trimmed to fit a Card album I am assuming. They are ...3-4.00 cards
The next 2 have minor paper damage, 3-5
The rest are terrific per shape.
The King Bird of paradise 3 others are 8-10.00 cards per ebay and 2 of those as well as 3 others would SGC a 70 or pSA a 5 +
It's 100-130.00 in cards.
TO me, if I make mine, I am not worried about anything else. I sell based on what I have in a card. You get a deal and I get another customer :)
Let me know and I am glad I inspired you
Since doing this I have had more fun than any other card collecting. I have stuff on my shelves that will NEVER see a trade or sell price :)
One of my most recent pick-ups
1886 Original Old Judge Cabinet card 4X6
Aside from back-side, lower left paper loss, it is perfect. It was evidently stuck in a book for 100 years as there is NO wear and NO fading.
WOuld take so much more than it's worth to get it. Hell,to me it is History. One of Goodwin's 1st Cigarette Advertisements :)
I colelct, for myself, the large cards and the Advertisement cards that were handed out by hand more than the actual pack-pulled cards.
i mean, I collect them all,but the cabinet cards will rot before i part with them :) ...those and my Cigarette packs. Those pre 1940 clam shell boxes with the cigarettes still in side are near on priceless to me
TO me,this is nearly Art ;0

id love to get them all from you- and thanks for the scans of the rest of your collection- those are cool- I love vintage so much more than modern, I just dont have the patience to collect vintage- hunting for a card for years (or longer) sometimes drives me too crazy- although Im thinking of totally switching over.
I may have to buy a few at a time, instead of all at once, finances dont quite allow for a 70.00 purchase all at once- but if you dont mind holding them for me, I can buy a few at a time as I get paid, and as I sell off stuff on feebay and here. If thats cool, please let me know and we can figure out prices on each, and I can start grabbing them!
