NHL All-Star Props Sheet - Leg 5 of Race For The Price - Sponsored By Upper Deck!

Welcome to the SCF All Star Weekend Props Sheet, another contest in The Race For The Price!

The winner of this contest will receive a 2011 Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Champions Boxed Set - donated by Upper Deck!

Additionally, the top 5 entrants will receive points in the Race for the Price!

The points for The Race For The Price will be awarded as follows:
    1st place 5 points
    2nd place 4 points
    3rd place 3 points
    4th place 2 points
    5th place 1points

To participate, there are four simple steps:
    1. If you haven't already done so, Digg the main Race contest here.
    2. Digg this contest here: http://digg.com/news/sports/sports_c...ards_community
    3. Post in this thread expressing your interest and your Digg ID to confirm step 1.
    4. Click on this link, and subit the form with your picks, before 8:00 PM EST on Thursday January 26th.

Any Infractions or Negative Trade Feedback received during the contest will result in an automatic disqualification from the contest.

If there is a tie for a position in the top 5 spots, the members who are tied will all receive the same (higher) amount of points, but eliminate the lower valued point total. For example, if two members tie for second place, they will both get 4 points. There will be no 3 point prize, and the fourth place member will still get 2 points.

If there is a tie for the win, all tied members will receive 5 points.

If there are ties at the top, the first tie breaker will be the total number of correct answers. After that, randomizer.org will be used to determine who gets the prize.

How to play? Simple. Just answer all the questions below.......

Here are the props (note that different questions are worth different point values within the game):

    The Draft:

There will be a live draft Thursday, January 26th at 8:00 PM EST (the cut off time for all entries). Team Chara (with Assistant Captian Joffrey Lupul) and Team Alfredsson (with Assistant Captian Henrik Lundqvist) will select their teams to compete in the Skills Compition Saturday night, and the All Star game on Sunday afternoon.

Who will Team Chara select first? (5pts)
Who will Team Alfredsson select first? (5pts)

Will Team Chara select any Canucks? (3pts)
Will Team Alfredsson select any Maple Leafs? (3pts)

Who will be selected first - Daniel Sedin or Henrik Sedin? (2pts)
Who will be selected first - Patrick Kane or Jonathan Towes? (2pts)
Who will be selected first - Phil Kessel or Alex Ovechkin? (2pts)

Which Team will get Tyler Seguin - Chara or Alfredsson ? (2pts)
Which Team will get Jason Spezza - Chara or Alfredsson ? (2pts)

    The Skills Compitition:

Saturday, January 28th at 7:00 PM EST, the NHL All-Stars will show off their skills in a compition that puts their skating, puck-handling, and shooting skills to the test. To see last year's results, follow the link here. This will give you a good idea of how many 'points' each team earned, and who did well in what contest last year.

Who will win the Fastest Skater Contest? (7pts)
Who will win the Breakaway Challenge? (7pts)
Who will win the Accuracy Shooting Contest? (7pts)
Who will win the Hardest Shot Contest? (7pts)

Will Team Chara or Team Alfresson win? (2pts)
Will the winning team win by 5 or more points? (2pts)

    The All-Star Game:

On Sunday January 29th, at 4:00 PM EST, the NHL All-Star Game will be played between Team Chara and Team Alfresson. Below are a series of in-game questions. Many of the statistics used below will have "half" numbers. Something that asked "Over or Under 7.5" (for example) means that 7 or less would be the under, while 8 or more would be the over. Using the half numbers ensures that one answer will be correct.

Who will win: Team Chara or Team Alfresson? (4pts)
Margin of Victory for the Winning Team: Over or Under 2.5 (2pts)

Total Numer of Goals (both teams): Over or Under 19.5 ? (2pts)
Total Numer of Goals (both teams) in the First Period: Over or Under 7.5 ? (1pt)
Total Numer of Goals (both teams) in the Second Period: Over or Under 7.5 ? (1pt)
Total Numer of Goals (both teams) in the Third Period: Over or Under 7.5 ? (1pt)
Total Numer of Penalty Minutes (both teams): Over or Under 7.5 ? (1pt)

Who has more points - Phil Kessel or Joffrey Lupol? (1pt)
Who has more points - Alex Ovechkin or Evgeni Malkin? (1pt)
Who has more points - Daniel Sedin or Henrik Sedin? (1pt)
Who has more points - Steven Stamkos or John Tavares? (1pt)
Who has more points - Pavel Datsyuk or Jarome Iginla? (1pt)

Who has more points - Dan Giradi or Brian Campbell? (1pt)
Who has more points - Erik Karlsson or Alex Edler? (1pt)
Who has more points - Keith Yandle or Shea Weber? (1pt)

Who stops more shots - Jonathan Quick or Tim Thomas? (1pt)
Who stops more shots - Henrik Lundqvist or Carey Price? (1pt)
Who stops more shots - Brian Elliott or Jimmy Howard? (1pt)

Unfortunatly, that list does not yet exist..... which is why I assigned higher values to those questions. Won't know the players in each event until (likely) the day of. Even picking a winning team for the game - it's a crap shoot with only knowing two players from each side.
