Anyone remember when this was just a hobby?

I grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and there used to be a guy with a table selling cards on 86th Street between 3rd and Lexington Avenues in the early to mid 1990's. He would be amazed at kids coming at him with $50 & $100 bills to buy stuff. I told him, Welcome to the Upper East Side of Manhattan, you picked a good location to set up shop!

20K for a Jeremy Lin auto Jersey????? If this kid Lin fizzles out and fades into mediocrity or oblivion (which I hope he doesn't) that guy who shelled out the 20K is gonna be pissed. Then again he probably is one of the 1% out there.
