Bubble mailers are a minimum of $1.71 fee from the PO pricing to ship in a mailer

This. Compared to $0.45 to mail in a plain, white envelope (non-cancelled), I just paid $1.95 to ship a card in a bubble mailer. $1.50 plus the cost of the mailers, and voila.

The new rates (started about 2008) for #000 Padded mailers killed single card sales. It's just not worth shipping a 'small dollar' sale when it costs $1.71 ($1.64 with USPS discount) in postage, and then the cost of the mail $0.10- $0.40 each depending on how many you buy at once. You sell a card for $1.00 and you have to charge $2.50+ shipping to break even after paypal takes a % on the total transaction price.

no im saying i bought some on ebay for $3 and there were 5 of them so thats about 50cents per mailer and plus the stamps that going to be likr $1-$2 depending on how many cards i send to the trader, so why do people charge me $3 for bubble mailers??
