SCF's New Front Page - Thoughts?

SCF will officially have a new front page this week. Here is what we've come up with so far: https://www.sportscardforum.com/content/

The front page brings together all of SCF's features into one spot. The system will show you our most recent articles (hobby magazine, announcements, and tutorials), all of SCF's information and tutorials by section and category (better than sticky threads), new Card Cash store, store and inventory items, back issues of the Collector's Corner magazine and more.

One features is "My Friend's Activity" that will feed in activity of anyone on your buddy list. It's a way for you to come on SCF and see what your friends are doing. We also have an eBay section for quick access to eBay.

Feedback? What would you like to see on the front page?

Looks great- only thing I'd love to see is our custom ebay search like the ones on our profile.

I think it looks great, but to attract new members, I think we should perhaps add the "guess the final price" contest or something of the sort. From previous website experience, I've noticed huge boosts in new member volume simply based off having a contest that is viewable when the potential member first sees the site. Just an idea though. :)

Also, I see that typing sportscardforum.com goes to the forum and not the front page. Is it supposed to be like that?

I'm assuming their leaving the direct link to the forums until they're completely finished with the homepage, but I could be wrong.

    Good feedback so far!

Also, I see that typing sportscardforum.com goes to the forum and not the front page. Is it supposed to be like that?

Until we have the page where we want it we will continue to have the forums the lead in page.
