David Booth kills massive goat

In spite of staying off the ice as a result of the National Hockey League's lock out, power forward David Booth caught himself a different type of trophy this weekend.

The Canadian-born athlete posted a photo to Twitter of himself posing with a large goat that he shot and killed over the weekend.

'There's only one trophy in the world harder to get than this... And I'm getting that next,' he wrote, referring to the Stanley Cup.

It's a mountain goat. I've seen them out west, but they're usually only at high altitudes above the tree line. Magnificent-looking in person, and amazing climbers.

I've seen mountain goats before living in BC. I have never seen one that big though!

At least he used a bow and arrow, slightly more of a fundamental kill than a hillbilly with a rifle.

I think it just looks big because the pic is taken up hill and hes behind it, otherwise that would be goatzilla
