    Panini Redemption Replacement

    Panini sent a letter saying they were "unable to complete your card redemption due to circumstances beyond our control." Pretty sad story behind that sentence. The unfinished card they included sums it up.

    Nice replacement, and it's also kinda cool that they sent the original Belak card as well. Sad what happened to such a good young man.

    Panini did me solid on the replacement, and I agree it was cool they sent the original Belak card, too.

    His suicide shocked a lot of people b/c he seemed happy & well-adjusted, was practicing for The Battle of the Blades, was learning the ropes as a live hockey broadcaster and spending time with his wife and two young daughters. I guess no one can say how bad another person's internal demons can be.
