Who says 90s cards arnt worth anything?
Hey all
For the longest time, this card was #2 on my wantlist. I was lucky enough to find mine about a year ago, which was the 1st one I had seen available in the last 5 or so years. I was even luckier to find my #1 card on the wantlist with number 2!

Im very interested to see what this card goes for .....
- It might be the WORST possible time to sell this player
- It ends at 3AM pacific time =S ( why do sellers do this? )
And I was told I was crazy asking $200 for my Black Diamond Quad RC /50 ( his rarest rookie! ) =S*** Main PC - Roberto Luongo ***
*** MOST WANTED - 12/13 PRIME COLORS "PATCH" ROBERTO LUONGO x/8 ***

It's not necessarily about the player (though Roberto still has his supporters out there) but about the scarcity of the card for people who may be pursuing the set. If it's indeed just the 2nd copy of the card to surface over the past few years, at least in such a venue as eBay, those who are set building or are die-hard Luongo collectors will go after it hard because who knows when they'll find another.
Remember, just because it's $100 more than you'd ever want to pay, doesn't mean that should apply to everybody. ;)Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

Cards are worth what someone is willing to pay for them. I wouldn't pay that price for that card as I could get several nice Sundin cards instead.
Likely explanation is set collectors looking for the final card to complete the set who have deep pockets.

I'm not surprised....he's a french-canadian goalie.
They usually sells for a very very very high prices even some Eric Fichaud cards sells well....
But it's a renaissance for inserts/parallels from 90's at lately hence those prices.

if the trend (or the bored rich people that don't know what else to do with their money) from basketball ever comes to hockey.
you will see 90s cards numbered /100 or lower (of superstars) go for thousands of $.
