    Late 90s Refractors

Okay dumb question - How do you tell the difference between the Topps Finest regular and the refractor cards. I cannot really seem to tell the difference.

The refractor cards will have a rainbow like tint to them when you hold them up to the like and tilt the card

Thanks that is what I thought but sometimes it is hard to tell with pictures online. I bought one a while ago and it was not a refractor and was a pain to get my money back . . .

Some of the late '90s ones will also have the text "REFRACTOR" in tiny lettering somewhere on the card backs, but most mid '90s ones don't even have that, so in that case you will have to do as pwaldo indicated.
