Most Iconic 1990s Basketball Rookie Card?
This is a lot more difficult than the 1980s. In the early 1990s you had Shaq who dominated but he really doesn't have a valuable rookie card since they printed so many. Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway had iconic Topps Finest rookies but both guys had their careers derailed due to injuries. Kobe Bryant might be the best player from the 90s but he has so many rookies to choose from. Would his Topps Chrome rookie card be it? After him you had Tim Duncan but while he is an all time great fans and collectors really don't gravitate towards him. The SP Authentic Vince Carter was HUGE after he won the slam dunk contest but it too has fallen big time.
So what rookie card would you pick to sum up 1990s basketball cards?Selling All My Cards Here------>Hidden Content

They have all fallen but I would say either the Stadium Club Shaq or the Finest Kevin Garnett. I assume most people will say the Chrome Kobe RC, but these cards as well as some of the Hill and Penny RCs really kept the hobby going.

Kobe Chrome, great thing about the chrome product was when it came out nobody wanted it, everyone was high on Finest. You could pick up 10 Kobe chrome rookies for 15 to 20 bucks before it really took off.

For me, its the Shaq Upperdeck rookie. With all the hype with Classic signing him until jan. 1st, all the companies did redemptions. Upperdeck just did Shaq. One of the first sets i reaquired!
