Hockey Player Punches Ref, Gets Banned For Life

    http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=2BmyJ...layer_embedded

One of the more unusual fights I have ever seen involves a hockey player and a ref. This took place in Canada last February. The player in question is named Brett Cook, who played for Nipissing University, and the reason I watched it was because he had been banned from hockey for life.

i have to ask what the heck was the ref doing grabbing him on the opposite end of the ice?
the fight was nowhere near him?

did cook do something before this that would have caused the ref to be over there grabbing him?
