Rest in peace to one of baseball's greatest men. Virgil was a gift to our hobby and to the world in general. He'll definitely be missed.

RIP Virgil "FIRE" Trucks. He was a jewell of the TTM community and a fine pitcher during his career.

I was very saddened to hear the news of his passing. He was truly an asset to the TTM community. I've read many people who actually met Virgil while passing through Alabama. To think an old timer would be willing to meet up with fans for lunch, etc. They don't make them like that any more.

Sad News. He was one of the best signers thru the mail and always sent extra stuff back. and was very prompt with his returns. He will be missed
I remember the first time I recieved a return from him. He included an extra card and 5x7 and that Red Fire Truck Stamp he used was great.
My thoughts and Pravers go out to the Trucks Family. RIP Virgil Trucks
