I really wanted to pick the Islanders as a first round upset team, but then they end up matching up against the one team I don't believe they've got a shot at beating. Pens in 5 (max) on their way to another cup.

I think this series is going to be surprisingly physical...and I'm expecting a physical series.

Pens in 6
If the team plays the way they are capable of, they can and should beat the Isles easily. The Isles have been playing great hockey lately, but still, they are not good enough to beat the 2013 Penguins, if said Pens are playing quality hockey.
However, due to recent playoff history, especially that of MAF, and the ghost of past series watching over, I would not be shocked if something bad happens. But again, if this team plays the way they're capable of, this series should not go passed 5 games. Again, I'm picking Pens in 6.Last edited by ncm7772; 04-30-2013 at 09:41 AM.

I won't make a series prediction because it proves little. All I know is that the Pens are very dynamic, and at times seemingly unstoppable.......
However, the Islanders look famished. When you see the look of a very hungry team that for once is winning and really starting to play like winners, that can be an ominous sign for anyone in their path.
There has never been a year without upset since the NHL went past 15 teams. I'm not saying that this will happen, but the Isles are dangerous and very hungry for some success.
