I'm an Isles fan and i'm extremely surprised with the playoff appearance based upon under-25 players, waiver-wire pickups and guys who don't want to show up. Biggest disappointments are probably Minny, the Rags and the Devils. Based on the Rangers inconsistently, they really don't deserve to get in. I just hope that whoever they play puts them on the golf course by the 2nd week in May.
I collect Matt Dzieduszycki, Derek King, Pierre Turgeon (Isles only), Zigmund Palffy (Isles only) plus specific current Isles (mainly Wahlstrom, Dobson, Barzal, Beauvillier, Pulock)

Definitely the biggest surprise to me is the Stanley Cup contenders the New York Rangers with their All-Star top line of Nash, Richards, and Gaborik.

The NYR and Philly were total disappointments. I thought the Rangers had gotten their lesson that a cast of all-star players doesn't necessarily equate to a winning team.
Montreal and Toronto made it past the regular season, that's a heck of a surprise, but if it had been a regular 82 game, they were both heading downhill and fast.
I'll also throw in the Caps and Ovechkin for surprise. I didn't expect a rebound like that.
I'm not surprised the Isles made it, they've got so much talent on the offense! I wish them luck facing Pittsburgh, they're gonna need it!
